Scrapbook Royalty wants to start fresh in 2009 and we need your help! With our non-profit status finalized and a huge event coming up we have decided to put in the work to make a real logo. On the left, we have a poll for you to vote on which design you like better: with or without scissors. All voters will be entered to win. Vote and then leave us a comment here letting us know that you voted. We'll choose a winner from the comments left today and post the winner tomorrow!

Bonus Question: What are your 3 favorite causes to support?

Other than Scrapbook Royalty which we know is your most favorite! :) We are always looking at noble causes to support and would love to hear your opinion. For answering the bonus question you'll receive an extra goodie if you win! And...did you know that we will help you hold a Scrapbook Royalty Affiliate event in your area for your favorite cause? Just email us at info@scrapbookroyalty.com and we will send you an information packet.

I voted! (I'm partial to the one with scissors!)
For your bonus - I support Heartland One (and just helped with a scrapbook documenting a house the and the community re-worked for a family). Also I support the local technology education programs for MS, HS, and colleges in the area. And the third would be any children's charities!

Without the scissors...much more "Royal."

Three causes dear to my heart...

Parkinson's Foundation, research and help for those with Parkinson.

Homless...helping generate jobs and education as well as assisting those that can not work due to medical problems.

Breast Cancer Aweness and help for those who are going through treatment and their family.

I like it with the scissors because it is something different.

I organize the Wisconsin extension of Crop out Diabetes. We have an annual crop that raises money for the Juvenile Diabetes research foundation. My daughter (now 7) was diagnosed with juvenile diabetes just before her 2nd birthday and this is my way of helping to find a cure for her so some day she can live a "normal" life.

I also support the local food pantry and our church.

I love the one with the scissors, gives an extra dimension to the logo. I like to support the Human Society, childrens' funds and Homeless.

I choose B (the one with the scissors) for the logo.
Bonus -- the 3 charities I support are United Cerebral Palsy, Living Springs Storehouse, and vaious things through our church.

I like both logos, but I chose the one without the scissors. I dont really have any reason just like it more.

In all honesty I dont really dedicate myself to any certian charities. I do donate to goodwill, hand out change or food to someone on the street asking for food, this time of year always donate 3-5 gifts to toy drives, and do small things like that. I have been wanting to get together with Jennifer, and ask her about being a volunteer for Scrapbook Royalty.

Renee said...

I voted for the first logo. I like the idea of the scissors, but it distracts from the name.

I support Komen and Avon Breast Cancer, Autism and Project Angel Food.

I chose the one without the scissors. I think the scissors make it look too cluttered. As far as other charities I support, that would be ones run by my church. We do a lot of humanitarian aid and I like to help out with that.

Michelle Frae Cummings said...

I chose "B" cause while the scissors were cute, it was distracting.
my group raised money at a crop and gave it to the childrens dept. of our local library. We also like to give scrapbook supplies to foster care centers.

Marla said...

I choose B also because I agree the scissors make it hard to read. I think the groups I support would be: breast cancer awareness, make a wish foundation, and humane society

Stacy Cohen said...

I voted for the one without the scissors because I think it's easier to read (although those scissors are cute!).

I support the March of Dimes and some local charities in my area.

I made my vote! I like to support Breast Cancer Research, my church, and local needs.

I voted for A. I like it without the scissors best.

What are your 3 favorite causes to support?

We support MS. My husband does the ride every year and I help him raise money for it. We also give to various cancer funds, this is something that is near and dear tomy heart. Lastly, we donate to the Houston Food Bank several times throughout the year.

I like B as well...the scissors are cute, but a bit distracting!

Our favorite things to support are: Operation Shoebox, some friends that are missionaries and our church.

Joanne said...

The scissors are too cute for me. I support the Salvation Army because they directly help members of the community. My son is autistic and we do not agree with the many groups claiming to represent autistics. However, my son does respect and admire law enforcement and fire fighting groups, as well as the military.

I picked without scissors because it is easier to read. The scissor are cute...but the o's needed to line up.

Three Favorite causes: Anything to do with Children like Operation Christmas Child through Samaritanspurse.org which sent my personally packed shoe box of gifts to children in need all over the world; Lakeside Christian Helps Center is always in need of food donations; Disabled American Veterans will pick up donations of furniture and clothing at my doorstep.

I voted for my choice with the scissors. My charities choices would be these 3. Breast Cancer,( my Grandmother) ALzheimers Research (my Dad)and Heart Disease (my Mom).

Scrappin' Royalty said...

I really liked the first one better. I think that if the scissors were aligned differently it would have worked a little better, but I like the first one, because it is less distracting.

Anonymous said...

I think the one without the scissors was better. The scissors kind-of make it not as prim and proper as royalty would be.

I chose the second one because although the scissors are very cute I thought the second one looked more elegant for royalty.

I love the one with the scissors, A. The causes I regularly support are started by crafty friends: Cards for Heroes, sending cards to troops to send back home to their families. Little Life Preservers, sending cards of support for women going through breast cancer treatment. I also support Walk for the Cure, have had several friends walk in support of breast cancer research.

Love your 12 days giveaways. So very fun and generous.

I too chose the first one with out the scissors as thought they were distracting.

Not sure about the causes out in the US as I'm in Aussie land but here I would support the RSPCA, Surf lifesaving and Cancer research.

I choose the one with the tiara.
My three favorite charities are Susan Komen breast cancer, American Cancer Society and Salvation Army because they have help me and my family in the past. It was really hard to narrow it down to three.

I voted for the logo without the scissors.

The Susan G. Koman Foundation...I walked in the 3 Day Walk for breast cancer research this year. I have several friends who are survivors.

We also support various missions projects through our church; mostly orphanages, schools and hospitals.

Our son is a memeber of the Army National Guard and has served in Iraq. We support the local Family Readiness Group for his unit and also veteran's groups.

My fav charities are: FirstBook (supports literacy in low income areas), St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and ASPCA.

I work for a non-profit tranportation agency & love being able to help seniors and disabled people in my community. I also support the Humane Society and several other animal charities. And my 3rd favorite charity is Kiva. Kiva allows people to make business loans of $25 to people in 3rd world counties - you pick who you loan to and when they pay it back, you can choose someone else to loan the 25$ to.

I like the one without scissors, voted for it.

Causes I support, 1)my church, we do lots for kids in our area who's families are needy, 2)schools, its an investment in the future, 3)anything that helps out with what the fire departments/military/ police are doing. Those groups do so much for us.

Betsy said...

I chose the no-scissors one as well. Much cleaner and less distracting. My husband says I just open my wallet whenever I see anything with a pink ribbon on it, lol! So I guess Susan Komen's Breast Cancer foundation would be top. St. Judes is another of my favorites, as well as the National Multiple Sclerosis Society (I'm a little selfish there, though, since that's likely to benefit ME one day!). I can't wait to read more about the helpyou offer in setting up a fundraiser crop...

I voted for logo B ...more regal and less distracting !!

3 of my favorite causes are: Food Pantries, Alzheimers, and Susan G Komen. Being a scrapbooker, preserving memories for a loved one with Alzheimers is a wonderful gift...for them and their families! Coming from a very large family, Food Pantries DO help families get through those hard times...I know first hand! Thanks for all you do!er1943

I voted for the first one. I support multiple sclerosis for two main reasons. One I have multiple sclerosis but also because it is an orphan disease and receives very little funding. My number 2 would be green peace and number 3 animal rescue.
