We came, we "maked & taked", and we chatted about Scrapbook Royalty all weekend long!! It was so great to see old friends and make new ones too. Here's Elena with Elaine and Terina:
We had a blast in our usual royal fashion. Check out Katie and Jesse having fun:
See those cute aprons behind them? We were selling them to help raise money for Scrapbook Royalty!! Cute aren't they?
We had two make n takes -- Cards for the Troops and a cute little Luggage Tag Mini Book using Quick Quotes' Powder Puff Inks and Lil Davis Paper and Chipboard. We collected over 150 cards this weekend!! Woohoo!! We are well on our way to reaching our goal of 1500 cards for the troops so thank you!!
Here is Jennifer at the make n take station in our booth:
And Cori Solorzano teaching a mini book make n take at our booth:
We were giving away some cool stencils from Kaiser Craft for a contest we're doing until jan 31--all the details will be released in next week's newsletter so make sure you sign up over in the box to the left.
We also collected raffle tickets for a drawing to win one of three pairs of Fiskars Breast Cancer Awareness Scissors donated by Lead Fiskateer Cherly Waters. Winners will be announced in the next newsletter as well.
We also had the pleasure of meeting Daynah, a local scrapbooking blogger with her finger on the pulse of scrapbooking in Southern California.
She posted this fun little video on her blog:
Thank you also to our wonderful volunteers!! Jesse, Jim and Jeannie, Nancy, Eva, Elena, Jennifer, Tiffany, Cori, and Katie kept the make n takes running smoothly all weekend and kept our booth hopping!! And thank you again to everyone who stopped by our booth and made this weekend a success!!
