Hi! I'm Laura Bray, also known as katydiddys.

When Elena asked me to be a Scrapbook Royalty guest a blogger, I was so honored!

Since it's summer party time, I thought I would share a tutorial for creating custom party table setting using your scrapbook supplies.

I don't know about you, but I often buy paper and embellishments and then don't want to use them because they are too pretty.

I've found that using the supplies to set a party table really help me overcome my reluctance to use my treasure supplies.

So here's a video on just how to create a table setting. (P.S. I filmed the video this Spring for the PBS show Creative Living with Sheryl Borden. The episode will air sometime in 2011.)

A Royal time was had by all!

Last weekend Elena and I went out to Laura Miller's Desert Scrapper's Retreat in Palm Desert! We were there to introduce a new Royal Add On...keep looking on our website, you'll never know when this will pop up at a crop or retreat!

It was great our first Royal Add On and it sold out! For a donation of $25.00 the ladies who signed up recieved reserved seating at the crop, goodies at their seats, personalized goodies and a even a hand made goodie from moi! They were cute little birdies! Turned out so cool, if I do say so myself! We treated them to Root Beer Floats Friday night and a Pizza Party on Saturday. It was a fun way to get to know a small group of ladies at the crop! I feel like I went home with some really fun new friends!

Our next Royal Add On will be at Laura's September Retreat! It will sell out fast, so if you're planning on coming, sign up and get pampered like a princess!

Also a shout out to the rest of the crew at the Desert Scapper's Retreat, with their help we were able to raise about $400.00 these funds will help Teri Kincade reach her $2,000.00 goal for the 3Day Crop sponsored by Scrapbook Royalty, it's a benefit to support Susan G. Komen for the Cure and will also help to support Scrapbook Royalty so that we can continue to be bring fun and inventive ways to bring charitable events to creative folks like you!
